VaVaVa Voom!!

The weeks I have waited for the Last Blance Dance and to see Chloe made over are finally here! This week Chloe shows the Salem High kids a thing or two!

The weeks leading up to this dance have been torture waiting to see what she would wear, if she would even dress up at all, but it was well worth it. This week Chloe proved once and for all that good things come to those who wait. The storyline was surrounded by other very good stories and made watching Days this week a lot of fun for this viewer.

The dance date starts out very badly for Chloe and Phillip. She is wearing an all black cape and hood that covers her entire body and face. Chloe also still has on her black glasses. Phillip can not believe that she would not dress up even a little for this one date. Of course he whines and moans about how it will ruin him, not caring about Chloe's feelings. And Chloe tells him it's what's on the inside that counts.

By the time they get to the dance Phillip has convinced her to take off her glasses. A big step for Chloe but a bigger one is about to come. Inside the dance, Nancy is worrying about what will happen to Chloe and Craig is trying to calm her down. The two of them are perfect as first time parents with their child on her first date. I know Craig is supposedly not her father but he should be! The three Wesleys have enormous chemistry and deserve to be a real family!

Phillip and Chloe walk into the dance where that evil Jan person starts the group of kids chanting ghoul girl over and over. I was with Nancy I wanted to rescue Chloe too and give that Jan a good hard smack on my way by! Chloe is gives a moments thought to turning and running but Phillip convinces her to stay. Just then she has him take off her cape and voila! an ugly duckling has become a beautiful swan in one smooth movement.

The crowd is stunned, Nancy and Craig are tickled pink with pride, and Belle leads the applause of most of the crowd for Chloe. Phillip, meanwhile, is too stunned to talk or move. And well he should be. There are some online who think Chloe should have dumped him for all his earlier rude and mean comments. I think her looks are enough to humble him and they do make a really cute couple.
