Victor is finally coming back to the old Victor! The old Victor would have wiped Nicholas from the earth in one motion and this week Nicholas will be gone from Salem. The old Victor ate people like Nicholas for lunch. He didn't take anything from anyone and handled things the old fashioned way...quick and with great force.
I was hoping that when Victor returned to the Salem cast of characters that he would be the old Victor. It took the show a while to get back to that but slowly the storylines are making their way back to the Victor of old and I love it! This week Victor has found out that Nicholas is in love with Kate. He also found out that even though Kate lusted for Nicholas she was in love with Victor and wanted to remain with him. Nicholas is yesterday's toast! Kate will have to pay also for her part in the Nicholas deception, but Victor will eventually forgive her. Victor loves Kate and will do anything to keep her. But, he is not a man who takes betrayal lightly. It will be very interesting to see his interaction with Kate after Nicholas is gone. I hope the show stays the course and keeps Victor strong, fighting for his family and loved ones and eliminating all threats with speed and accuracy. The old Victor and now the new/old Victor are a joy to watch. Subtle, strong and in charge. Those who would be his enemy had better watch out because Victor's back and he's better than ever!
