Dirty Laundry

Dirty laundry, or skeletons in the closet, are a big staple on soaps and Days is no exception. The character with the most dirty laundry at the current time is Nichole Roberts. She is hiding so much from so many people that it is bound to come out, secrets like that always do eventually.

Faithful Days viewers will already know that Nichole took 5 million dollars from Kate to marry Lucas in order for him to gain custody of Will from Sami. The revelation of this secret will impact not only Lucas' custody fight with Sami but Nichole's "relationship" with both Lucas and Eric.

Days viewers also know that Nichole has had some not so nice things go on in her past. Lucas knows part of these things as does Kate, but I don't think anyone knows the whole story except Nichole and now maybe the smarmy, but gorgeous Rex. This secret will ruin Nichole with just about everyone in Salem I am predicting and will be the catalyst for Eric's departure in the next few weeks from the show.

I never liked Nichole as a character until lately. She has developed into quite a soap opera character and the actress has improved dramatically over the last couple of months.

Nichole will not only be humiliated by the exposure of her secrets but if Rex and Victor are successful she will also be without a penny to her name and will most likely lose her job at Titan. So where will she go? Who will she turn to? My guess is her brother Brandon. I am pretty sure that by then he will be the only one still talking to her.

It will be interesting to finally find out what's behind Nichole's actions. What secret from her past has made her the way she is today. I am sure it's not pretty and my own personal opinion is that her father used her as either a prositute or porn movie star. Either way, it's pretty ugly. But it opens up a whole new view of Nichole and what makes her tick. Granted the storyline resembles the Billie Reed storyline a lot, but it has given the character of Nichole a lot more layers and made her much more interesting to watch.

The secrets should be coming out soon as Eric is scheduled to leave the show in July, but will probably have scenes into at least mid August. Unless they stretch it out to September sweeps. Either way it should be explosive and interesting and I will be watching to see what happens. Until next time...
