Father Go Round

The Days father go round is moving full steam ahead. Hope is pregnant, she thinks Bo is the father and Bo is not telling her otherwise. John wonders if he is the father, Stefano wonders if he is the father and we all wonder when everyone will find out the truth!

The show is known for dragging out secrets to the bitter end, but how long can they go with this one? If Hope became pregnant last summer in July she is about 8 months along real time. Leaving about 1 month or so to go, if they go by real time. Soaps are not known for going by real time. But just for the sake of argument, let's say they do. The truth would then have to come out next month or May sweeps at the latest. That would be one of the fastest secret reveals in Days history most likely!

So who do you think the father is? The one that would make the most impact would be Stefano. Hope would be utterly revolted she slept with him, Bo would be hard pressed to accept the child and there would be yet another Dimera offspring running around for Stefano to control. John would present problems too as the father. His current family would be affected, Bo would have a hard time accepting it but a lot less so than if it were Stefano's child and Hope wouldn't be as revolted about sleeping with John.

Of course none of Hope's sleeping arrangements were her fault. They were all Stefano's fault. His mind control of both her and John led to her sleeping with both John and Stefano. Stefano is definitely the sleazier of the two because he knew Hope was not herself when he slept with her, John didn't.

What I want to know is when people are going to tell Hope the truth about what happened when she was Gina? Are they just going to let her accidentally find out? Or will she be confronted with it when the paternity of the baby is found out? I am sure it won't be easy for her to accept all the things she did as Gina. Especially the sleeping around part.

Next week Bo and Hope make love again. I wonder if it will be as romantic with Bo knowing Hope is pregnant by another man? I am happy they have finally reunited Bo and Hope but I think their road is going to be a rocky one. Will they make it through? Only time will tell...until next week.
