Secrets, Lies and Microchips

Days is full of secrets and lies lately. And some are actually quite interesting. Let's take Brandon and his hatred of Abe. What is it that drives him to this intense hatred of one of Salem's most upstanding citizens? What secret is his mother hiding about Abe? I am enjoying this storyline very much these days. And Brandon's flirtations with Lexie are HOT! The dance scenes this week were sizzling! I just hope they are not going down the who's the father of the baby story road with them eventually.

Next we have Hope and her mysterious pregnancy. Is the baby Stefano's, John's, or even possibly Bo's? Is she even really pregnant? If you have read this column at all you know I detest the whole Gope story line. But I am interested to see what exactly they do with this baby story and how they explain it. If the baby is Stefano's or John's she has to be at least 6 months along. And if it's Bo's it was something that we as viewers were not shown. Of course, since this is a soap time lines mean nothing....

Then there is my favorite story line of the moment... Chloe. She is an all around intriguing character. This week Nancy decides that Chloe needs a new image, something that doesn't sit well with Chloe. Leading to their first real mother/daughter argument. I hope the show is not in any big hurry to pretty Chloe up. I think her impact is much better the way she is being played now. Especially her interactions with Shawn which are also great.

John and his memories keep going and going and going. Rolf is hilarious as always..he reminds me of Boris from Bullwinkle. I guess Bart is Natasha. Now we have learned that John once thought of Stefano as his best friend! Yikes! What else will we learn? You know John has more lives than a cat and he could yet turn out to be a Dimera...stranger things have happened.

Kate and Nicholas just don't do anything for me. Granted Nicholas is one of the most beautiful men I have ever seen but I am just not buying it. And I am praying that Ivan wins a HUGE lottery and he and Vivian ride off into the sunset together!

By the end of this week most of Salem will be aboard John's plane which has been sabotaged. But if Rolf and Bart's previous efforts to thwart John are any indication I would say that no one life is in any real danger. I just hope they get Hope and Stefano out of that crazy castle soon! Can we hope that it will happen by the
