Some Tips for Everyone

I saw this one the Internet Robin. Royce Stevens had this to say: "I am cutting mini blinds into lengths about 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" in length, punching a hole in one end and attaching a string to it. I intend to write the cross on the mini blind, probably with a Sharpie. I know Sharpies aren't very long lasting, but I only want it to last about two months. On crosses that don't "take", I hope to bleach off the writing and reuse the tags. Costs: A 31" blind costs less than $4 and if I did the math right one can get around 1500 tags from one blind. String can be bought for less than $2 for 325'. A hand punch costs about $1."

After seeing my tags (retail tags) fade in the rain, I think this is worth a shot.

This is something else that I want to try.
