A Little of This and That About Daylilies
Another gift idea of mine is to make t-shirts or sweatshirts with your digital photos. You can buy special transfer paper from almost any computer store. Use one of your paint shop programs (Paint Shop Pro or Windows Paint) to print it on special paper. You must wash the shirt before you apply the transfer. You must be sure your paint program reverses the image If you want to insert any text. After you iron the transfer onto the shirt, the image displays correctly. Your paint/image program should list a property called "mirror image." If I manage to get mine done before Christmas. I will post a picture of it here.
Another gift idea is the book entitled The Color Encyclopedia of Daylilies with thousands of daylily images done by some AHS members. Amazon.com has a good price on it.
