Country Classics
Last time we talked about some favorite catalogues
that are good for winter dreaming. There are several more that
I would like to include. Bert and Aubrey Johnson have a web site
that is worth viewing because they have great information about
the Daylily Societies in Georgia and great links to other Daylily
sites. Their catalogue has no pictures, but the names are familiar
and the prices are fair.
The Country Classics Daylily Garden is run by Bert
And Aubrey Johnson and is located in Warner Robins, Georgia. You
can order a catalogue through their e-mail at abjohn@hom.net
or you can view it on-line at Country Classics Daylilies Popular Daylilies in Georgia
According to a recent popularity poll, Georgia's
has a few favorite Daylilies that hold up well in the heat.
From this site, I would suggest you take a trip to the Joiner
site. The pictures are worth a thousand words. Truly! The Joiners are located at 9630 Whitfield Avenue, Savannah, Georgia. They both hybridize and create beautiful Daylilies. Their introductions include Frances Joiner, and Jan Twister.
Coming Attractions Interviews are in the works with special Daylily growers. Look for the next columns about an Australian Daylily grower, then Emily Pitkin Olson from South Carolina. Go To Page: 1
