...You wonder regularly if you could have been anyone other than you.

...Your idea of aerobic activity is attempting to sing along to Halloween.

...You'd like to be lost somewhere in Charlottesville.

...You hear a new song on the radio and almost like it...only to say, "Yeah, but it's not DMB."

...You have an inexplicable affinity for lizards, elephants and monkeys, oh my!

...You quote Davespeak as if it were philosophical truth: e.g.: Dave sayeth, "Your Jimi thing can be anything you want it to be." Amen.

...You know in your heart of hearts... if DMB did nothing more than play "Mary Had a Little Lamb" on kazoos, you would still contend they are the five greatest musicians walking this earth.

...The real reason you want a car of your own is so you could finally, proudly display that firedancer window cling you've had for years.

...You are the Bobby McFerrin of DMB. You can hum each instrument's part to each song without missing a beat.

...You're going to C'ville on National Dave Matthews Band day to do absolutely nothing except walk around saying: "It's their day...it's their day..."

...You have bought "reserve copies" of all the CDs to keep unopened in your closet so in case one of your current CDs simply wears out, you'll have a back-up so you won't go through a single moment of DMB withdrawl.

...You refer to members of the band as if they were your friends. Hence, "I'm thinking of getting the new Soul Coughing CD. Dave says it's really good."

...You can hear DMB songs in your head at will. Hit it, Dave.

And last but certainly not least...

...You spend hours making up a list called "You Know You're a DMB Fan When..." to share at your Web site where you get to ramble on about DMB every week! ;-)
