The Texas Women's Hall of Fame inducted Miss Davis in 1990. She passed away in 1991, but her spirit lives in every kick and every red-lipped smile. She is indeed the first lady of drill team.

The Rangerettes continue to perform at KC football games, pep rallies, parades, and produce Rangerette Revels each spring. Since 1951, they have performed at the New Years Cotton Bowl Classic in Dallas. In 1989, Rangerette Alumni, the Rangerettes Forever, pioneered a summer camp for girls in grades 3-8. The camp is taught by current and former Rangerettes and directed by Mrs. Blair and Mrs. Wayne. A camp for high school and college-aged individuals has been available since 1990.

In their 50 plus years of existence, the Rangerettes have won the hearts of audiences even outside the Lone Star State and the United States. They have traveled to Venezuela, Hong Kong, Macao and Korea, Romania, Eastern Europe, France, Japan, and, in 1997, Singapore. They have traveled from coast to coast in the U.S. and have graced the covers of magazines and several national television shows.

The Rangerette's most recent performance was at the 1998 Miss Texas Scholarship Pageant on July 4th.
