Naked Ladies
First was a shower, just to rinse. Then we saw a table with pitchers of water. We were supposed to write our name on a cup and Krista wrote "Geisha" on hers. I wrote "Ginger." I figured I might as well play the part. Also on this table was a small gong and a huge bowl with sea salt. We got some sea salt in a tiny cup and went into the steam room. This is a hot, hot, hot room with steam all around. It's the room they use in scary movies when somebody gets locked in and gets killed. It was nice, though, and we put the sea salts on us and sat. We chatted quietly and were starting to relax. One other naked lady told us to be quiet; apparently we were having too much fun.
After we got all sweaty, we showered again and made our way back to the water table. Here, Krista pointed out the sign by the gong--it said something to the effect that if the room got too noisy, you could hit the gong and everyone would be quiet. We all thought this was hysterical and talked about the uses for such a device in our own homes. I think somebody told us to be quiet again about now. Next we were supposed to dip in a very cold tub of water, but none of us could really bring ourselves to do it. We all went in the hot bath instead. This was very nice and relaxing, but hard to know where to put your eyes with a parade of naked ladies passing by. We also noticed people picking up on each other here. Strange to meet someone for the first time naked, I would think. I feel like a step in the courtship order has been missed. Anyway, we all managed a dip in the cool pool after sweating it out in the hot water.
Then on to the dry sauna room. More nudity. Also, I believe here we found a woman we all swore was a man. After getting real hot again, we went back out and sat or lay down on wooden benches with cucumbers on our eyes. Then a final shower and back to reality. My question is this - why does nudity bother me so? Why do I feel that it would be impossible for me to be one of the
