Planting Daffodils


to fill in the row from start to the end. The rows should be a minimum of ten inches apart, and would be best at twelve inches apart. I do this on my show and collector daffodils so that I can better keep track of the names.

Square

As it implies, the bulbs are planted in the ground in a square with one bulb on each corner, and about six inches part. The square is the method I often use for small area plantings of my show and collector daffodils.

Triangle

Us the same method as planting in a square, except one corner of the box is not planted.

By following an identifiable method, when digging time comes, it is easier to maintain both the location, and the identy of the bulbs. It doesn't seem to be that important at planting time, but you will thank me when you dig.
