The Suite101.com Omelet

June is an important month to me for a number of reasons.
1) It's Father's Day. The one day a year we dads get to kick back and enjoy the neat stuff our kids made for us at school. (I'm hoping for another soup can pencil holder with spray painted macaroni glued to it.)
2) June is my birthday. I will be 21, er...uh..., 41 this month. (Thanks Mom.)
3) June is also the anniversary month for Suite101.com, Best of the Web Guide phenomena. Happy 3rd Birthday Suite!!!!

To celebrate this momentous occasion, a new omelet is in order. This is not just any old omelet. This omelet has eggs in it.
Oh sure, anyone can make an omelet with eggs, but how about an omelet with eggs and three, count 'em, three different cheeses?
How about an omelet with eggs, three cheeses, and baked ham? Maybe a little Canadian bacon just to make it interesting? Then to top it all off, we'll add green pepper, green onion, and ripe Roma tomatoes? We might even add, are you ready? Spices!
Got your attention?

I can see it now. The Suite101.com omelet will become so popular that it will be added to breakfast menus all across North America. Maybe even Central and South America. Today Canada, tomorrow the world!

Someone will probably write a jingle for the Suite101.com omelet. Kids will write book reports and do science projects regarding the Suite101.com omelet. At sporting events all over the world, they'll serve the Suite101.com omelet along side peanuts, cotton candy, and tofu on a stick.

Celebrities will battle over the endorsement rights for the egg, bacon, and cheese sensation. It will be served to visiting dignitaries by heads-of-state. It will travel on the Space Shuttle to be studied by science astronauts testing the effects of omelet weightlessness. Some great Hollywood director will do the Suite101.com omelet story; "Sir Omelet of Suite101.com: My life in the pan".

Ok, ok. I might be exaggerating a bit, but I did want to do something special for the anniversary celebration at the Suite, and an omelet seemed like a nice way to thank the Suite for all that they have done to better you're Internet experience.

I must warn you that this is NOT a low fat, low calorie, low cholesterol dish. But if you only eat one, or two, a year you should be ok. Maybe go for a long walk after consumption. It is good and very filling. During the testing phase, 40% of those tested could not finish the omelet. But since I have a teenage boy at home, leftovers are not a problem.
