Well, hailing from the Midwest myself, I can say that Dig Deep reminds me of some of the shows I used to catch at the brewpubs and pool halls around Madison. The air is thick with cigar smoke, the crack from the billiard tables punctuate the bass lines and horn solos, and just about everyone in the joint is at least nodding , beating or tapping along to the music if they haven't joined the growing throng on the dance floor. For Entrinzic, the jazz-funk influence mostly pays off better than the reggae one, although the Marley-styled groove of "Thicker than Water" must be a surefire crowd pleaser. For a little extra flavor, the band includes a DJ who scratches throughout. Dig Deep pops with energy and good vibes, promising a good time-or a roots funkification-for anyone who ventures out to catch their live show.Highlight Tracks: "Drink the Wine" and "Three Fingaz" For More Info: Visit http://www.entrinzic.us
