First of all, for a limited period, the game includes English Pool along with Snooker. So now, you get two full-feature games in a compact, quick, easy-install 180 kB download (update) that takes just a couple of minutes. If you have the earlier version, download the update.
The game includes a computer opponent with three difficulty levels, but beware; the hardest level will probably snuff out your snooker career prospects in a jiffy. It even beat its author 140-nil.
Added network support ensures that your wins count in the on-line ranking. All you have to do is visit the waiting room online at the site (to which a link is provided above) and check on the Who's-who of the Quicksnooker world. There is improved internet support in tthis version for an interactive evening of snooker.
However, there seems to be some winsock trouble with the game. Most users report a very straightforward install but a problem thats been seen is: "component MSWINSCK.OCX not correctly registered : File missing or invalid" error. There's a simple fix for this on the Quickgames website.
