Symptoms .... so many, ....... which ones are the worst?

This brings me to my major bathroom complaint. WHO IN THE WORLD DESIGNED MALLS?????? What kind of joke is it to put a bathroom right in the center or... one on each end. There is no way in the world you could walk that far and make it by the time you realize you have to go!!!!!

Nausea: Well I don't really know what causes the nausea either but there is a great drug out there called phenergren. You can get a prescription from your doctor. It works fantastic for the nausea.

vomitting: I used to suffer from this immensly and have had many many dental problems because of it. I had .... not right now thank goodness.... alot of this because of Crohns being present in the bottom of my stomach and when it would get inflamed and irritated my stomach would produce mass amounts of acid and thus.... vomiting would occur. Prevacid is a great medication for vomitting of this type and is available in prescription from your doctor.

Pain... Well we discussed that in the last article.

Weight Loss: This is an interesting topic. In the beginning most people do have weight loss... of course it is not hard to figure out that this comes from the vomitting and diarrhea and nausea all combined together. It is funny how people who are first diagnosed react in what I would call a quite normal manner and cut back on what they eat. There fore weight loss comes into play.

However ... I have also realized with myself and many other CD patients that after years of this disease I am actually over weight most of the time. This I blame on prednisone which increases the appetite. I eat alot of food and most of that food is fattty why???? because those are the foods that digest the easiest. Mashed potatoes, buttered noodles, pudding, yogurt, breads, soups (and you would be amazed at the fat in some of them). Crackers (another one with way more fat than you think).

So lets get a discussion going on this one. What is your main symptom right now???? What are the symptoms you have had and do you have any information or hints, tips, clues on how to deal with or lessen any of the symptoms.
