LUCKY It seems that I am a lucky person, In 1986 I was told that I had CD . It started with lower stomach pain after eating, the pain got worse I could not run, ride a bike,or do any situps then I failed the PT test I had to go to the doctor,( I was in the na at this time station in ROTA SPAIN) here is were I got Lucky there was a doctor that was a weekend warriors and his specialty was IBS/CD. Well after the uper GI and lower (what a pain in the butt lol) I was sent back to the states to awieght discharge. hen I got to the states I was started on the med for CD. Went on and of for 10 years, 1 hospital stay for 9 days, then went into total remension, after I found the diet that works for me. chinese food the one with the hot pepers the little ones red not een, and fresh meat/fish/pork/duck, and cooked greens ( FREASH is the key grow your own if you have to ). my doctor does not know why this seems to work for me BUT IT DOES !!!!!! I go to the bathroom once a day there is no pai! n (if you are reading this you now the type of pain) I eat 3-4 meals a day (light meals nothing heavy, I drink 1-2 beers once in awhile (more during the super bowl)NO MEDS FOR 5 YEARS NOW (knock on wood)I don't know why but I am just lucky. I have read e horror stories from other CD people and talked with more, the only thing that I can say is NEVER FILL SORRY FOR YOUR SELF. (you will have plenty of people doing that for you). when you feel tired make a cup of tea and put a LOT of honey in it. This wo s for me, mabe you???
