Over pitch ball smashed for four in cover region, short pitched and hooked over square leg for six, a brilliant diving catch, etc. All these are spectacular sites in a cricket match. But when a genuine fast bowler starts his run up, rushes towards the crease, takes jump and throws the ball at a great pace towards the batsman, the batsman is beaten all ends up and is clean bowled, then there isn't any more spectacular sight than this in a cricket match. Similarly, when a fast bowler is struck for a four and the disappointing facial expression of the bowler are really worth watching.

Nowadays in cricket, there are many great fast bowlers around like Wasim Akram, Glenn McGrath, Allen Donald, Shaun Pollock, Darren Gough, Chaminda Vaas, Courteny Walsh, Curtly Ambrose and many of these possess a fast bowler attitude but none of them possess the angry attitude, the aggressive nature & the super pace which Shoaib has. Shoaib nowadays is considered as the only man who can break the record of fastest delivery by bowling a 100-MPH delivery.

It started in the World Cup 99, when Shoaib was criticized about his bowling action by some English player (most of them retired) to weaken his spirit and aggressive nature but Shoaib bowled successfully in the World Cup and won the Man of the Match award in the semi-final. The real mess came from Aussies when they not only accused Shoaib but also forwarded the videocassettes to ICC panel for Illegal Deliveries and which now has banned Shoaib.

Shoaib is initially banned for the United & Caltron Series in which the Pakistan, India and Australia are participating. There will be another meeting within a month's time, which will decide Shoaib's future. It is expected that he might play the test series in Pakistan against Sri Lanka.

The point under consideration is that Shoaib has played under almost every renowned ICC official in World Cup 99 and many other series but has never been accused of bowling jerks rather it all came from Australia in the One Day Series in which Pakiz are favorites along with Australia it is worth mentioning that Pakiz won the series when they last participated in it.

Sri Lankan spinner Muralitharan faced same circumstances but ICC cleared his action. In this season, Australia has lost only one test series, which is from Sri Lanka mainly due to brilliant bowling of Muralitharan. It was quite humiliating for Australian team and their officials as well after that loss. Now this might happen in the latter stage of Shoaib's career as history repeats itself. So, are Aussies heading for another humiliation? Why they keep on doing so with the bowlers whom they are afraid of? Even if Shoaib's throw jerks then what to do with Bert Lee. About B. Lee every one can easily say that he surely throws jerks if Shoaib bowling is jerk.
