stitched them to the new one just below the “real” arms. The stuffed arms are connected via a 4” string to the cuff of the real arms so they all move together. The shirt is decorated with felt striped using our standard technique, and we added glow-in-the-dark fabric paint to enhance the felt stripes. We bent wire hangers into the wing shape we chose and those hang on a loop sewn on the back of the shirt. We decorated the wings with the same glow-in-the-dark fabric paint. Again, we use face paint instead of a mask for additional safety.
