SURFING for SHOWS for SELLING-SEASON

Jul 10, 1998 - © Barbara Massie

The Craft Fair Guide has shows separated into Eastern, Central and Western regions. You click on the region from which you want information. Then all shows on the site are listed under each of the 12 months. When then clicking on a show listing, complete information comes up, everything you will need to apply to that individual show.

Find listings of artfests around the continental US, Hawaii and Alaska is easier by accessing ARTFEST. The site has musical background if you want to be entertained while surfing. Listings under each state show the event and location. A plus is the inclusion of contact names with addresses and phone numbers.

As those at Events Calendar of The Arts & Crafts Society describe it, it's an international listing of Arts & Crafts related happenings - conferences, shows, exhibits, tours, auctions, symposiums & lectures. When on the home page, click on Events Calendar to explore the listings given by month.

The site for Craft Show Guides doesn't offer immediate information on arts and crafts, but it does have a long listing of names and addresses for hardcopy show guides. This is a great way to collect publications from a certain region, or one that lists all states, of arts and crafts shows not listed on the Internet.
