can be referred back to when a person is working along and can't remember a next step. While in training, provide the employee with paper and pencil and encourage her to take notes and ask questions. Also allow the employee to go slow at first and practice. Actually doing the work makes one learn the technique required more quickly. As one does the work, it becomes easier, is remembered and the employee gains speed. Time must be spent in training As the boss, DO NOT become impatient yourself and say, "I can do this better myself!" That might be true, but you have had practice. Were you this good in the beginning? Cultivate your employee -- it will pay off in the end.
