Everyone is in such a hurry! All talk about not having enough time in a day. Everyone seems tired, some are depressed, many frown and hardly ever smile, let alone laugh! It's my Polly- Anna attitude coming through, but I sure would like to push a button and make everyone slow down and be happier! Everyone gets so caught up in hurrying to get "it all" done, that no one stops to take a breath and appreciate life. Many complain about always working and not having time for fun. This sure does make for a lot of unhappy people. You might be gearing up for a busy craft season, but come on -- take time to loosen up and be happy. What are you waiting for? You want to wait until tomorrow? Can you guarantee your tomorrow will come? Today is here - celebrate it! Redirecting your time and energy into finding variety, less stress, and fun can make living for today good and actually more productive. Have you heard: Quit wishing for a happier life. Make it happen. 1. Try redirecting your life to alleviate stress. Bad stress isn't caused by one big thing in life, but it's a number of little things that cause frustrations to build up. Find the little things that really irritate you and change them. 2. Work should not be a constant. Relax and daydream. Daydreaming is not a time-waster. It can be the best way to come up with ideas. The craft world needs new ideas perhaps you can daydream up some. Fantasize about life and you might come up with ideas to make it more what you would like it to be. When that idea hits, change it from a daydream into a reality. Looking at art galleries on the web can also inspire you. One artist named a painting Daydream . 3. Write a plan for the future - What do you want tomorrow? Next week? Maybe even next year? Think about your plan every day. Take at least one step each day to fulfill it.
