Earth tones make people feel at ease. And there are certain smells that do that same. What do you feel when you smell fresh baked bread? Cinnamon? Vanilla? You feel at home, at ease and maybe even nostalgic. I'll bet you do a little cleaning before guests arrive, why don't you do a bit of aromatherapy as well? Wouldn't it be nice if years later, whenever your kids walk by a bakery and smell those heavenly fragrances they immediately think of home. Here are some recipe's that are not only heavenly to eat but take very little time to make.
Bread pudding 1 cup white sugar Mix together sugar, eggs, vanilla, raisins or fruit, and cinnamon in large bowl. Heat milk and margarine or butter until hot. Stir hot milk into bowl. Mix. Pull apart bread slices and crumble into bowl. Push the bread done till evenly moistened. Pour bowl with all contents into casserole or baking dish. Put in a 350-degree oven and cook until top is browned and the rest is bubbly. It's a type of pudding, so remember it is supposed to be mushy on the inside. Applesauce Oh now this one has a lovely aroma and taste that everyone loves! Use a crockpot for best results. Several green apples, 5-8 cut into medium sized pieces You can top this with cream, whip cream or vanilla ice cream for extra special treat. Serve hot. Go To Page: 1
