A Relaxed Party

*Hummus*
Use this as a spread for crackers or the basis of a substantial sandwich


1 can (14 oz) chickpeas, drained
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 t. soy sauce
5 T. lemon juice
3/4 c. tahini or creamy peanut butter
1/4 c. parsley
1 t. sugar
2 green onions

Put all the ingredients in a food processor and whirl until well combined. Chill until served.


*Lemonade*
Sun tea containers (especially the ones with the spout) are great for this. Double or triple this for a party.


1 c. sugar
2 c. lemon juice
6 c. water

Mix all the ingredients well and chill until served. Place ice cubes in the top of the container to keep it chilled during a party.
