Beef Slow Cooker Recipes

My family and I have become experts in the subject of slow cooker dinners. Around the ranch, it's just easier to pop everything in and come back in 6-8 hours to a nicely done dinner. Being a cattle ranch, beef recipes tend to be a favorite.

One thing to kep in mind - don't keep checking the pot. Slow cookers don't need stirring and every time you take the lid off, it takes an extra 20 minutes to build the temperature and steam back up.

We save all of the tougher cuts of beef for the slow cooker. Eight hours of slow, moist cooking will tenderize shoe leather if need be.
