Three Delicious Pies*Maple-Pecan Pie* This was inspired by the delicious syrup at a pancake house. 1 c. maple syrup. (Don't use the watery stuff. Try corn syrup and maple extract. Much better!) 4 eggs, beaten ½ c. sugar 1/3 c. butter, melted ¼ t. salt 1 ½ c. chopped pecans 1 single crust pastry Mix syrup, eggs, sugar, butter, and salt until well blended. Fold in nuts. Pour into pie crust. Cover the edges with foil. Bake at 350 deg. for 15 minutes. Remove foil. Bake for 25 more minutes. Cool before cutting.
