Piggy's Select European Garden Tour:
Many London visitors are thrilled to witness this fabulous "Changing of the Guard" filled with pomp and tradition, but Piggy was busy looking at another kind of formal eyepopper as shown below instead. Oh Piggy! Distinguishing left from right is not a pig-based talent and especially not when the pig in question is tired due to trans-Atlantic travel and above all not when fabulous blooms beckon like so many sea sirens from the far side of the street. Every cottage gardener's heart thrills to such a glorious sight. Such fresh flowers for sale in the city! The Elfin Oak has been restored not once, but twice. It is kept under glass and behind bars although it is dead. Here are lots of wonderful photos of it by Donna Flood Kenton. But Piggy did not take the time to ponder the Elfin Oak. Instead, a breathless Piggy dashed next door with insane delight. For Piggy had literally stumbled across the new Children's Play Area at the Memorial Garden to Diana, Princess of Wales. ***More Next Time*** (Piggy first appeared in this topic last September, starring in Piggy's Garden Tour.
