There was not a single gardener in sight on that hot muggy weekday afternoon. It was definitely a time only for proverbial mad dogs and Englishmen as the heat index neared 100 degrees, but as I walked and clicked my cameras I could imagine each gardener waving hello through their flowers.

"Look at me!" they cried.

"Click! Click!" answered the camera.

Here are some images from my stroll. ENJOY!

Spilling over the curb.

Prickly pear cactus & penstemon.

Hollyhocks in grand style.

"Needs More Blue"

Tawny daylilies in stylish company.

Cannas in aquariums.

Daisies and lambs' ears in the city.

ROSES!
