Try to look at your proposed changes or additions or deletions from as many angles as possible, including from inside and from the neighbors' viewpoints. Remember to test them out from both sitting and standing heights. Run upstairs and stare out a few windows. Sometimes there is a reason to view things at night as well as by day. Check from the "approach" perspective, and from the "looking back" perspective. I guarantee you will have some real surprises!
When you are happy with the layout, photograph the mock up. Take notes. Measure. Take notes. Did you write it down? On second thought, maybe you'd better add a "holding bed" to the list, too! We'll look at "fitting it all in" next week! In the meantime, here is some "mind candy" to encourage creativity and three-dimensional thinking outside the mail-order plant box. ENJOY! p.s. measure take notes measure take notes write it down measure take notes write it down take photographs make a sketch write it down measure it take notes.... Welcome to Venice Beach.
