Coronation Street Report Cards
was on her way to becoming something, but of course she's going soon. Vikram is very one dimensional - the only reason he's this high up is that I wanted to talk about the three of them at the same time. What's going to happen with the Corner Shop is very much up in the air, I don't think many would miss Dev if he left, it might be too good an opportunity to introduce new characters to pass up the chance to make a big change.
Alma Halliwell and Emily Bishop - Both have seen much better days. Neither has much of a role anymore, Alma is at loose ends without Mike or the cafe and Emily is nothing again without Spider. Kept around for longevity's sake I'm afraid.

Kevin Webster - I'm just going to cut and paste Steve's entry, only let's cut out the last bit:
Now (Kevin) is interesting. He's been on the show for years, and he's been terrible for most of that time.
(They should have kept Debbie and got rid of Kevin!)

Gwen Lovesomething - I've given her a D- because I'm a very nice person and I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.
FINAL REMARKS
All in all, not a great time for Coronation Street characters, I'm sorry to say. It's not the worst either, and at least Liz MacDonald is gone.
Rising Stars: Natalie, Dougie, Tyrone, Sarah Lou.
On the Bubble: Dev, Toyah (only moreso).
Most Wasted Characters: Gary Mallet, Roy and Hayley.
Best Couples (whether couples or not): Jack and Vera, Natalie and Dougie, Toyah and Tyrone.
