Sugar Alternatives &Fibromyalgia management are there options?

Nov 7, 2001 - © Barb Briley

in baking would probably throw the color off in your cookies, cakes and pies. However what about pumpkin pie? I am both hypoglycemic and allergic to cinnamon, hmmm it just might work very nicely as a liquid in pumpkin pie. But can I afford it in large enough quantities? So, how about as a group we give this stuff a try and see how it works out? Report back in the Discussions area and perhaps we will know what real people using it in real situations think about it.

There you go a few options. I know this is not “Wow! What a wonderful answer!” but like I said a few options. Remember I am new at this diabetic stuff so I am sure that some of the diabetics out there can probably tell us lots of good tips for sugar reduction and they are all welcomed by me and hopefully our growing readership. Oh and as an aside remember what mom always said “Too much of a good thing is bad for you.”

Just a final word: “I am not a doctor nor do I intend to be mistaken as one.” I am merely a patient explaining what I have found, what works for me and what doesn’t. Please check with your medical professionals, doctor, pharmacist, nutritionist etc before changing your diet, medications or exercise level. Additionally some foods can cause bad reactions when mixed with medications.
