Welcome to the latest issue of Cool/Great Sites! I hope you enjoy these sites, and find them both entertaining and useful, as they are intended to be. Don't forget to stop back for more great sites!

The sites reviewed below are all "Webware" websites. These are so cool, especially for people who are new to the internet, and want to design websites, or even for those who just don't have the time to make their own graphics, etc.

"Webware" basically means online services to instantly make/design buttons, logos, graphics, javascript effects, flash effects, and much more. Enjoy.

There quite a few, so I've decided them up into a four part series. This is part four of the series:

Adobe Create a Graphic: http://webservices.adobe.com/graphic/mai...

This is an online graphic design service, which lets you interactively create web graphics right within your browser. Combine shapes, text, and uploaded graphics, then add bevels, shadows and other effects. Adjust any element's size, color, or position. When you're done, simply click the Create Graphic button to produce the final, high quality version. You can then save the image to your own hard drive.

Adobe Optimize An Image: http://webservices.adobe.com/optimize/ma...

Another graphic optimizer, this one works alot like the other ones. Upload an image and see several optimized versions for you to compare. Pick the best one and save it to your hard drive, and it's ready to use on your web page!

SpinWave.com Image Crunchers: http://www.spinwave.com/crunchers.html

And yet another free image compressor. This particular online services includes a GIF cruncher and a JPEG cruncher. Don't lose visitors to your website because they don't want to wait around for huge graphics that take forever to load!

Chami.com Text Colorizer: http://www.chami.com/tc/

Another great online service by Chami.com. This one is really cool. Enter the text you wish, and your beginning and ending colors. This service will create text for you that gradually changes from one color to another for a great text effect! It all depends on what colors you choose!

HTML With Style Colorizer: http://www.webreference.com/html/tools/c...

The Colorizer is a Java applet that helps web designers select colors for web pages. You can enter values in RGB or HSB notation, in hexadecimal, decimal or percentage, or graphically select them from a component similar to those used in popular graphics programs. You can also preview colors for background and several types of text to decide which colors look best on your web page.
