Welcome to the latest issue of Cool/Great Sites! This is part one of a three-part series of articles which contain a collection of really awesome halloween websites which I have found through lots of browsing around the internet to find the coolest and most unique sites dealing with halloween. I hope you enjoy all these sites as much as I did. And don't forget to check out parts two and three of this three-part series.
Halloween From All 4 Free Graphics. They've got bats, black cats, ghosts, ghouls, haunts, pumpkins, skeletons, witches, backgrounds, banners, fonts and dividers. They also have spooky midi files and waves, and recipes, decorations, crafts, invitations and eCards. A great all-purpose halloween site! Very well done.
Bats Bats Everywhere - Bats 4 Kids. This website was created just for kids, to educate them about bats, including pictures and a live bat cam. They feature the following categories: where bats live, what kind of homes they have, what they eat, what they really look like, how bats help humans, myths about bats, why they fly even though they aren't birds, and how we can help save the bats. A neat site!
Ghosts Stories R Us. This is a huge selection of ghost stories. Too many to list here. Plus you can submit your own horror and suspense stories here. They also have spooky books and movies!
Full Moon Girl's Haunted Halloween. Not only does this huge halloween clipart site feature poetry, midi files and wavs, books, and much more, but also has a huge selection of halloween clipart, including pumpkins, witches, skeletons, spooks, scenes, dividers, wallpaper, screen savers, desktop themes, fonts, and an online game called "Final Resting Place".
Halloween Greeting Cards. This is a very nice site, which along with the online greeting cards, features screen savers, wallpaper, the history of halloween and recipes. Greeting card categories include family, jack-o-lantern, horror, witches, wishes, haunted houses, trick or treat, and fun and games.
The Halloween Costume Bazaar. This is a really neat site. It consists of a 20-year collection of hand-made halloween costumes, in the following categories: creatures of the night, characters, the roaring twenties, deep space and beyond, ye old middle ages, once upon a time...., incredible edibles, animal house, a touch of whimsey, and the gay nineties. This is a great collection. A definite must see.
ChildFun's Halloween Pages - ChildFun Themes and Activities for Kids. This is an awesome site, designed especially for kids, which includes a huge listing of fun, games, activities, crafts, and much more for kids of all ages, including links to even more kids halloween sites!
