Three excellent websites to browse if you need to update drivers on your computer. Maybe your driver is corrupt, or your driver CD has gone bad, or been lost (which I did recently). These sites offer hundreds of drivers, for everything imaginable. They also offer help, newsletters you can join, and much more. I found it very simple to go in and find the video/graphic driver which I needed to enable me to switch from 256 colors to 16 million colors (oh boy, what an improvement!) So make sure you bookmark these. You never know when you'll need them.
Joe Expert - The Search Engine for Web Design. Do you have a web page mystery? Use this specialized search engine to information and websites on HTML, DHTML, Java, Javascript, XML, CGI-perl, Style Sheets, and Graphic and Design Tips. He also features forums, free graphics, free software, and website hosting. Definitely another great site to bookmark for future reference.
Software QA/Test Resource Center. This is a huge website, with everything imaginable to help you optimize your computer and all your software programs, and your website(s). They feature Software Questions and Answers and Testing Frequently-Asked-Questions (Parts 1 and 2), Software Questions and Answers and Testing Resources, Software Questions and Answers and Testing Tools, Web Site Test Tools and Site Management Tools, Software Questions and Answers and Testing Jobs, and- Software Questions and Answers and Testing Bookstore. You should be find just about anything here!
Web Hosting Search. I found this to be a tremendous help in searching for web hosting providers. They have an advanced search engine, which allows you to specify exactly which features you require in a web hosting provider. They also have a simple search engine too. So if you are looking for a web hosting provider under $20, with at least 100MB of space, with CGI and PHP capabilities, and at least 25 email accounts, you can easily do this by using the advanced search engine. You will then get a listing of those providers who provider exactly what you are looking for! One of the best I've seen.
