Welcome to the latest issue of Cool/Great Sites! This issue contains some really awesome websites which are designed to educate, help webmasters, students and professionals alike, and entertain! I hope you enjoy all these sites as much as I did and find them useful. This is a special issue - I only have 4 regular cool/great sites to feature, but I have added an additional section which includes tons of awesome links to financial, news, business, sports, computer information and more!
My first hot pick is World Kids Network, Inc. - "World Kids Networktm is a non-profit organization dedicated to children worldwide. This entire site has been put together completely through the volunteer efforts of children and adults worldwide. Almost 80% of this award winning site is put together and/or run by children! Virtually all of the images, text, programming and stories are original works contributed by volunteers, sponsors, and the kids themselves." I liked what they had to say. It says it all.
My second hot pick is the very popular Comet Zone - Here's another one for the webmasters. This is a great way to add something a little extra to your page. At Comet Zone, you can choose different cursors for each of your webpages. Then when people come to visit your site, they'll get a little surprise when their cursor changes right before their eyes!
Hot pick no. 3 is TableMaker - And another one for the website creators out there. This one will create tables for you with a simple click of your mouse. Just fill in the specifications you want for your table, and click the button! Instant tables! They also feature a ColorMaker to easily create colorful pages, and the FrameShop, for making frames for Netscape.
And my fourth and final pick, and a a real "gem" at that, is SilverMist Graphique - A beautiful graphics site, including a gallery, backgrounds, PSP links, fonts and dings, desktop wallpaper, webpage resources, Blade Pro presets, ICQ Plus Skinz, Zodiac buttons, ornamental eggs, ornamental snow eggs, "i wuv you" adoptions, friendship plaques, mirror border tutorial, and more! This is a great very well designed site! Definitely one worth bookmarking for future reference.
