My 1st hot pick is College Students Online. This is a great new site that is designed to appeal to high school and college students to aid them in their college hunt. You'll find info on grants, scholarships, honors programs and more, or you can check out college sports, radio and other college organizations. Search for colleges, including Canadian colleges, and plan your college experience! Definitely a good one if you're thinking about going to college!

My next hot pick is Unicef Alert: Kosova. This one speaks for itself. Join in and help provide urgently needed assistance. This site gives you updated reports on conditions in Kosova, features press releases and other info, or you can make donations here also to help this humanitarian agency that has done so much over the years for so many good causes!

Another great hot pick is Searchbots: Build Web Robots that Find and Review Great Websites. This is a brand new service created to make your browsing and searching pleasure much more refined and easier. Check this one out! Awesome graphics. Use their searchbot, or create one of your very own! This searchbot service actually allows you to specify your own personal interests, so that the searchbot can match those interests. You're no longer limited to keywords with this type of search process! You can also save your bot for future surfing!

My 4th hot pick is Greenpeace USA: Global Whale Sanctuary. "Despite a moratorium on commercial whaling, Norway and Japan continue to hunt whales in increasing numbers. Greenpeace is calling for a global whale sanctuary to protect the remaining whales. You can make a difference by adding your name to the Global Whale Sanctuary petition now." They also features lots of info about whales at their site. Check it out and see if it's a cause you would like to support!

Hot pick no. 5 is Kids Freeware: Internet Freebies just for Kidz! This site is really cool, and designed especially for kids! Tons of freeware software and other desktop enhancements for kids only! They even have a category for toddlers! Featuring cyber pets, cursors, desktop themes, icons, screensavers, wallpaper, pranks, games, holidays and music, all designed especially for kids! This includes software for Macintosh computers too! They also have educational freeware, internet helpware and freeware for parents too! Definitely a must have if you've got kids!
