WHAT TO DO? WHAT TO DO?

© Vaudie E. Harrison

Folks, as I write this, the turkey is in the oven, the pies were all baked last night, and the ham is carved and ready to put on the table. Hope all of you are in the same position.

In just a short while, we'll be sitting down at the table--and probably eat too darn much--and enjoy the feast that Grandmaw and her friends have prepared for us on this Holiday.

Afterwards, we'll all sit down and try to recover from just flat being too full. At that point, we'll also begin to wonder what in the world we're gonna do with all the leftovers.

To my mind, one of the best parts of this, and many other Holidays, is eating the leftovers. From cold turkey sandwiches, to turkey enchiladas and many other things, I just love leftovers.

If you are having a problem figuring out what to do with your leftovers, I'll point you to some places on the Internet where you'll find a lot of ideas and, hopefully, find something to your liking.

So, let's get started! <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Click your way over to the HONEYSUCKLE WHITE TURKEY web page where you'll find a number of good ideas.

Next, go to the LEFTOVER TURKEY RECIPES web site for some more great recipes.

Our next stop is at the WEB STAR TURKEY RECIPE web site to find all kinds of recipes for preparing the Turkey and a number of leftover recipes as well.

Another good site is simply called LEFTOVERS. It's a simple name, but they have a number of really good sounding recipes.

Finally, let's go on over to the web pages of the real Turkey "experts". What these people don't know about Turkeys probably isn't worth knowing. I'm talking about the THE NATIONAL TURKEY FEDERATION. On their web pages, you'll find loads of recipes for all those Turkey leftovers.

No matter how you use those leftovers, I still say that they're one of the best parts of the Holiday season.

I hope all of you had a great Holiday, and I'll keep my fingers crossed in the hope that none of us gained too much weight.

Oh well, back to the exercise bench!

See all of you next week!

Good Cooking,

Grandpaw
