Well folks, it's almost time for that great feast of the year--Thanksgiving Day! At least it will be here in the United States. I realize that Thanksgiving is celebrated at different times in other parts of the World and I apologize for not remembering all the other dates, but since I live here in the States, I'll have to go with our celebration here.

This week, I'll give you a number of places on the Internet where you'll find a number of recipes and ideas for the upcoming Holiday.

Next week, I'll give you a few of Grandmaw's recipes to help you make your Holiday Table something extra special.

So, this week, click your way around the web and take a look at the many ideas and recipes there and I'm sure you'll find some things that will help you start your planning.

I suggest that you start your travels by clicking your way on over to the THANKSGIVING RECIPE.COM web site for a variety of great sounding recipes.

If you should be looking for some healthy and scrumptious recipes, take a look at the PREVENTION MAGAZINE web site where you'll find a number of low-fat Thanksgiving recipes.

While we're taking a look at non-traditional recipes sites, let's take a look at a couple of others.

If your tastes lean toward the Vegetarian type cuisine, you'll want to take a trip to the VEGETARIAN KITCHEN where you will find all kinds of great recipes for your table.

Another location on the web where you'll find some really good Vegetarian recipes for the Holiday is at VEG WEB RECIPES , so click your way on over there and have a look.

Another place on the web to find a number of more traditional Thanksgiving ideas and recipes is at the READERS'S DIGEST THANKSGIVING IDEAS web site where you'll find all kinds of ideas for the Holiday.

Another web site where you'll find not only recipes, but crafts and games as well is called simply THANKSGIVING IDEAS so I'm sure you'll want to take a look there during your trip around the Internet.

In short, spend a little time at the above web sites and I'm sure you'll start getting in the Holiday mood and will be itching to start your planning for this Special Day.

Remember, next week I'll give you some of Grandmaw's recipes for your Holday Table.

See 'Ya then.

Good Cooking,

Grandpaw
