MORE TREATS FOR ALL OF YOU© Vaudie E. Harrison
Well, I hope that you all enjoyed the candy last week. I know that I sure did...
This week we're going to continue to give you your reward for making it through the winter months. We all remember visiting Grandma as a child. If your Grandma was like mine she always had a cookie jar filled to the brim with all sorts of treats. Such wonderful treats they were too. How many times have all of us wished that we could do the same for our kids and grandkids. Too many times, in today's busy world, it's just flat easier to head for the local market and grab a package or two of ready-made cookies. The problem with this solution is that, no matter the quality of the commercially available cookies, they're never as good tasting as home-made. This time around we're going to give you a group of easily made cookies to tempt those kids in the family. And don't think that they're just for the kids--grown ups love them too. After all, there's nothing that beats a handful of freshly baked cookies and a tall glass of ice cold milk. Now let's get to some of those recipes. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< GRANDMA SEZ--A Garlic Sandwich Is Two Slices Of Bread Traveling In Bad Company. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< GINGER SNAPS An Easy, Very Old Recipe 1 Cup Brown Sugar 1 teaspoon Ginger 1 Cup Molasses 1 teaspoon Baking Soda 1 Cup Butter 4 Cups Flour (Approx.)
