Strawberry Smoothie and Strawberry Pie
If you prefer, leave off the whipped topping and cut and serve with fresh whipping cream. Is your mouth watering? Mine sure is. What are your favorite strawberry memories? My mother used to make the best strawberry shortcake. We had strawberries from our garden which were extra-delicious. I grew up in a family of four kids and my mother was an exceptional cook. We always had plenty for seconds. Everything she made then holds a place in my "good memories" file. As a kid I used to pick strawberries at a local farm to earn some spending money. I ate a few berries as I was picking (we all did). Were they ever good! I remember the sun beating down on us, but it was a good feeling as a kid. I always got tan. I would recommend sunscreen in today's environment. I look forward to hearing about your favorite berry experiences. Please take a moment to leave them in the discussion area. Happy eating!
