Just Delicious Cookies

My mom calls these "dish pan cookies," and I have also heard them called "garbage pail" cookies. These go over really well with kids, and you can't help but get them right! Plus, this make a big batch of cookies, so there will be plenty left over for the cookie jar!

Just Delicious Cookies

1 cup sugar; 1 cup brown sugar; 1 cup oleo (butter, margarine); 1 cup vegetable oil; 1 egg; 2 tsp. vanilla; 1 tsp. cream of tartar; 1 tsp. soda; 1/2 tsp. salt; 3 1/2 cups flour; 1 cup Rice Krispies; 1 cup chopped pecans; 1 cup oatmeal; 1 cup coconut

Mix in order given. Shape into balls and place on cookie sheets. (One suggestion is to use foil on the cookie sheets, or parchment paper, but this depends on personal preference.) Flatten balls with a fork dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Makes 100 cookies.
