The bar's the thing!I love bars. They are quick and easy. When you just need to throw something in the oven and don't have a lot of time to mess around, bars are the perfect thing. These recipes will go over great with company, and with minimal prep time, they are perfect for the last minute kind! 7 Layer Bars 1/4 cup butter or margarine; 1 cup graham cracker crumbs; 1 cup shredded coconut; 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips; 1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips; 1 (15 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk; 1 cup chopped nuts; Melt butter in cookie sheet, sprinkle crumbs evenly over butter. Sprinkle on coconut, chocolate and butterscotch chips. Pour sweetened condensed milk over top. Sprinkle on nuts and press lightly in pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Cool in pan and cut into squares. Toffee Bars 1 cup margarine; 1 cup brown sugar; 1 tsp. vanilla; 2 c. flour; 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips; 1 cup walnuts; Cream margarine, sugar and vanilla. Add flour, mix well. Stir in chocolate and walnuts. Press the dough into an ungreased jelly-roll pan (15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inch). Bake in 350 degree oven for 25 minutes or until brown. While still warm, cut into bars. Cool before removing from pan.
