Over the past few years I have seen quite a few Christmas albums. Even though many dance in front of my eyes, some have stayed in mind since I first saw them. Here are some albums that I suggest. Merry Christmas! It's the Thought (1989) - Twila Paris
Ashamedly, I admit I just discovered this album this year. Full of excellent Christmas carols and some great original songs, this album will remind you to think of Jesus as you go through this hectic season. The Music of Christmas (1995) - Steven Curtis Chapman
This album is probably the best Christmas I have ever heard. Although it doesn't seem to be so great at first glance, once you compare its musical quality to that of other Christmas albums, you'll agree that this one is a classic! Christmas Carols of the Young Messiah (1995) - Various
The follow-up album to 1993's The New Young Messiah, this album is much better than it's predecessor. While there are some flops on this album, there are also some classics from artists like Twila Paris, Clay Crosse, Steven Curtis Chapman, Wes King, and Chris Eaton. Christmastime (1998) - Michael W. Smith
I admit that I've never heard this album, but I can say that what I have heard about it from other friends is very commendable. With the excellent piano playing that is MWS's trademark, this album is a classic!
