For me, summer is a time for bold colors...lots of bright flowers and vegetables celebrating the long, warm, sunny days of the season. This summer I've decided to experiment with different combinations of annual flowers and leafy plants in my new window boxes. Here are some of my favorite plants that can be mixed in almost any combination in a sunny or partly sunny spot (grown from plants - not seeds). I'm always looking for new ideas - so please let me know if you have any other favorites!
