Panzer Dragoon Saga (review)identity of the Divine Visitor revealed at the end of the game, are cliché or out-and-out cheesy. And the major gripe? The game lasts a mere 12-15 hours, leaving you wanting more for the outrageous price you paid for the title. A few extra mini-games do open up after the conclusion of the story, though it really isn't as satisfying as another 5-10 hours of true gameplay would have been. All those flaws are easily overlooked, though, once the realization sets in that this is the most eminently playable RPG ever released. The story is solid but not spectacular, as are the graphics. The game is woefully short. The subtitles can get annoying. But its been quite a while since I've had more fun playing an RPG. The battles and level designs were so good they even inspired me to pick up a copy of the Panzer Dragoon shooter! The game is hard to find, and it will cost an arm and a leg to purchase it, but let me tell you -- it is worth it. Panzer Dragoon Saga is a game every role-playing fan should experience.
