Rollercoaster Game Roundup (Part 2)Ultracoaster (http://www.reactorsoftware.com) features an amazingly easy-to-use editing system that lets you create any type of track in 3-D space, after, of course, a little practice. Unlike other coaster games that use pre-made pieces, this means that Ultracoaster can create exact replicas of real-life rides, including boomerang's, heart-line rolls, and intersecting loops (indeed, a legion of Ultracoaster fans have already done so, uploading their creations to sites like Ultracoastercentral.com). The 3-D engine is likewise fast on most computers. If you want a real coaster creator, skip the imitators listed above and spring the $20 for this one. No Limits (http://www.nolimitscoaster.com/), created by Ole Lang, was recently released. While I have not played the full game yet, the demo was quite impressive, featuring a VERY cool graphics engine that requires some beefy 3-D hardware. The game also boasts a coaster designer that allows you to create 8 different ride styles. All this for $25 bucks!
