The gameplay in Moto Racer GP is fast and furious, which does not really have to be explained. There are several tracks to choose, from long sea-side races to indoor moto-cross events. Crashes are very cool, as your virtual character gets tossed from the motorcycle like a rag-doll and bounces around on the ground. Unlike the real world, however, you can't suffer physical damage.
Sound effects are adequate, although I did notice some "clipping" when the graphics slowed down -- a fast processor (a Pentium 166 or above) would most likely alleviate this problem. I was impressed with the level of detail the designers put in the tracks -- World War I planes fly over head in some stages, and helicopters monitor the race in others. In the moto-cross events that take place inside a stadium, the cheer and chanting of the crowd can be heard as you drive by.
All-in-all, I'd call "Moto Racer GP" a simulation of an arcade racing game, and a pretty good one at that. However, I still believe that it will be very hard for a PC game to be as good as an arcade game, for the reasons described above. If you don't have the several thousand dollars to get your own arcade game for your home, this is a good place to start to satisfy your need for speed.
