Mini's: What Are They?

© Anna Morvee

I've discovered a new addiction and I want to share it with my readers. I love dollhouses and printables. I wanted to find away to combine both of my interests and do it as inexpensively as possible. After hours of searching on the Net I found a whole new way to use my computer crafting programs.

Mini's are very small dollhouses, room boxes, baskets and even gift bags. Some of the items are smaller than a penny. There are many templates available to those that want to make your furniture, knick knacks, curtains, rugs, linins and even food. This is an exciting hobby and you can do it from recycling items in your home to spending 1000's of dollars. I like this craft because you can become involved with little money, you can look at "trash" in a new light and you can make beautiful furniture and accents right on your computer.

I'm planning on journaling my experience to share with others from the start of my new addiction and the process my daughter and I make.

Discovering room boxes made this new craft less intimidating; instead of worrying about decorating an entire doll house you can do one room at a time!

to my daughters and granddaughters. This really looks like fun and one of my daughters was really into this when she was young.

Hope things are going well for you. ...
