Returning to the Fringe for the first time since 1995, this Australian duo promptly start warping reality. Special sound effects and acrobatics get thrown in the mix to recreate cartoon chaos on stage. Appearing at venue 33, Pleasance, (0131-556 6550) 9.55 p.m. until August 27th. For more information on Festival Comedy, you will find a link to the Edinburgh Festival 2001 website on our links page. The great thing too, about the Edinburgh Festival is the sense of community spirit and the atmosphere. Whether your a Community Theatre Company or travelling professional troupe, you will receive a great welcome, and no matter who you are, you can never tell if your audience will be made up of one member or one thousand and one! The last play I had on in Edinburgh, which was part of a Scottish tour had the unexpected surprise of a full house and lock outs. It was the first and only time, so far, that I've ever been locked out of from my own play! Over the next three weeks, I will be highlighting the best from Dance, Theatre, Writing, and Music. Thank you for reading this article, the first in a short series featuring highlights from the Edinburgh Festival 2001.
