The growth of sensitivity within this exercise is the ability of the leaders to sense where to lead their groups so that they do not get tied up with other groups. A few rostrum placed around the space will add interest as will some music.

Develop the work further by returning the drama group together to continue the work as a unit. Ask the members to group together freely in one corner of the space.

Give them a moment or two to become settled, quiet, and fully aware. When everyone feels the moment together, they walk down the length of the space, keeping in step with one another until they reach the other side, where they stop and remain still. Then, when the feel the moment, they turn, and repeat the walk back to where they began.

It is vital that the above movements are not triggered by either the Drama Worker or anyone else. The decision to move is an unspoken group sensitivity decision.

Repeat the exercise, but by group sensitivity decision, they stop elswhere in the space. Again, repeat, but instead of walking the group now runs. The Drama Worker can suggest other actions to include, but the group sensitivity decision will dictate when and where they are included.
